Wow, I was hoping you would put up a new painting today so I went to your blog again and there it was - the last one! I wish you all the best for the show, it sounds so exciting. Wish I could go and see it but Sweden is a bit to far away unfortunately... I just found your blog a couple of days ago and I´ve been so inspired by it! I made a cloud/landscape study today much influenced by your work.
I like the way you make the sky the main subject of the painting. What some see as background you make foreground..
Would be interesting to see what your process looks like and how you work. Do you have any in-progress pictures put up somewhere? :)
Hi Nina! It should be a great show, I'll post lots of pictures! There are a couple of "progress of a painting" entries on this blog, if you search you should be able to find them. I haven't posted the progress of a painting in a while, but maybe I'll do that soon! Glad you find the work inspiring, it's a nice chain of events when artists are moved by other artists. Cheers!
Master quality in the execution and composition. It seems almost impossible to me that you are still at the stage of being a student, studying art......I get the impression that you must be painting circles around anyone of your art professors because it does not get any better than this. You should be the one teaching....not learning! Good luck with your show Ambera, it will be a great success!
gorgeous, just gorgeous, the colors in this are wonderful. have a wonderfully exciting show with tons of people gushing over your work and, of course, buying!! wish i could be there in person.
This painting says it all really! Your style will probably, in the fullness of time influence some of my future painitings Good luck with the show and hope you will sell some!
Stunning! Your work is amazing Ambera. I'm going to start sounding like a broken record. Hope you don't mind. I appreciate your work very much! xo Constance
Ambera, Beautiful once again,...majestic, strong & sensual all at once.
I often blur my vision ( just a bit) and stare off into the middle of a piece to see what shapes or other pictures appear...Funny, what images you find in these clouds.
WOW! Your paintings are truly amazing Ambera! I just found your blog/website this last week and now I am hooked! I wish I lived closer to be able to make it to one of your shows! I am a contemporary landscape painter myself so it is really inspiring to see your work - the only issue I have is that I drool all over my keyboard because of it!!! Kidding, but really, I will keep coming back and hope to own one of yours one day!
Thanks Constance, you don't sound like a broken record at all, I love hearing from you.
Thanks Todd!
Thank you Bridget!
Much appreciated Cooper!
Well CG I just blurred my vision, and I made out a face and a fist. I didn't realize they were there! :) Maybe I should change the title...

Haha, Billygoose this is an exaggerated version of Nova Scotia. We do get some nice clouds, this is just an interpretation of one.
